Mikhal is making significant progress, and we’re incredibly proud of him.
His journey is far from over, but he’s meeting all our expectations. The recovery will be a long process, especially with the ongoing issues with his foot. The wound continues to ooze, and if it doesn’t start to heal soon, he may need to have a toe or two amputated. His paw is raw from the fluid, so we’re sending all our prayers for healing.
On the brighter side, his intestinal tract is improving, and we’re hopeful the JP drain can be removed by Monday.
Standing for a total of 10 minutes outside with his cart is a huge milestone for him. Every small victory like this is a step closer to seeing him fully recover. As we continue on this journey with him, we believe that every challenge is part of a greater plan, and with love and faith, he’ll keep making progress. Rest is vital now—healing takes time, and we’re committed to supporting him through it all.
Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into the light. ❤️
