Mikhal’s Miracle Transformation

We have something absolutely amazing to share with you all today. Our beloved Mikhal, the miracle boy who captured so many hearts, is truly blossoming into the strong, beautiful soul he was always meant to be.

Today, surrounded by love, Mikhal stepped outside to greet his fan club—Julie, Jen, Sue, and Lorraine. And let me tell you, the excitement was contagious! The gasps of awe and love flowed as everyone admired his transformation.

✨ “Look at you, big guy! You’re a different dog!” ✨

From his soulful eyes to his powerful, muscular frame, Mikhal no longer looks like the weak and emaciated boy we first carried into the vet. Now? He’s a total head-turner! Just a few months ago, Mikhal was at death’s door—weak, frail, and barely hanging on. Today, he’s bouncing around with a ball in his mouth, full of energy, joy, and most importantly, hope.

“He’s so handsome now! Just look at that Rottweiler head filling out! You can’t even see his ribs anymore. He’s getting closer to his goal weight, and it’s unbelievable how far he’s come.”

Through every kiss he gave today, Mikhal radiated pure gratitude and joy. His transformation is nothing short of a miracle—one that YOU helped make possible with your unwavering love, support, and prayers. ❤️

As Mikhal continues to heal, there’s still a long road ahead—his neutering is scheduled for next week, and he continues to have regular vet checkups. But with each step, we are reminded that love can indeed conquer the toughest of odds.

Mikhal is thriving

Our warrior Mikhal is doing absolutely AMAZING!

Just look at him! He’s putting on some much-needed weight and is truly thriving. He started the morning with his favorite activity—sniffing everything in sight!

There’s so much for him to explore and enjoy, and he’s loving every moment of it. His foot is healing beautifully too, and he’s moving around with strength and confidence.

This guy is also quite the eater these days—polishing off a whopping 8 cups of food a day! Every bite brings him closer to the healthy, happy pup he deserves to be.

It’s incredible to watch how far he’s come, and we’re all so proud of this boy’s unstoppable spirit.

A living testament to the power of love and community

Mikhal has been making wonderful progress, we are ramping up for his next weigh-in and check-up scheduled for October 29th! His goal is to reach 88 pounds as he continues to build muscle and recover from his previous surgeries. His paw is healing beautifully, and we are so optimistic that he won’t need a boot at all. Every day he grows stronger, and we couldn’t be prouder of this brave little guy.

We’re planning more updates and lives in the coming weeks, so be sure to keep an eye out. We’ll continue to bring you along on his journey as he heals and grows stronger every day.

Mikhal’s Milestone Moment!

Today was a big day for our sweet Mikhal! We captured an adorable moment of him chasing a ball, and while he’s still figuring out exactly what to do with it once he catches it (LOL), he’s definitely starting to embrace the fun side of life.

In the video, Mikhal eagerly ran after the ball – something he hasn’t done much of before – but once he got it, he was a bit distracted by all the new smells in the backyard and well, nature calling! He was so excited, though, trotting around with the ball still in his mouth. How sweet is that?

It’s moments like these that remind us just how far Mikhal has come. Not too long ago, running and playing felt like distant dreams for him, but today, we saw a playful side of him that filled our hearts with so much joy.

As we continue to work on getting our backyard in shape (the grass is long, and Mikhal has been busy, ahem, marking his territory! ), we couldn’t help but smile watching him enjoy himself. His journey has been a long one, but seeing him chase after the ball, tail wagging and all, makes every challenge worth it.

Mikhal’s Journey: Small Steps, Big Progress!

Hey, Team Mikhal family!

We are beyond thrilled to share some AMAZING news with you about our sweet boy Mikhal! Check out this heartwarming video of him soaking in the fresh air, enjoying the sunshine, and showing off his beautiful goofy side. He’s truly come so far, and it’s all thanks to your love and support!

Weight Update: Guess what?! Mikhal has exceeded his goal weight of 60 pounds! He weighed in at an impressive 67.2 pounds yesterday! He’s not only looking great, but he’s feeling it too—full of energy, sweetness, and just a tiny bit of stubbornness. But hey, what little fighter isn’t a bit determined, right?

Healing Paw & Pink Bandage: His paw is healing wonderfully, and in true Mikhal fashion, he’s rocking a stylish pink bandage for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! ️ He’s not afraid to show off his support for such an important cause. Pink is totally his color!

Building Strength: With his neuter scheduled for the 15th, we’re also working on building his muscle mass with some gentle exercises. Mikhal is continuing to flourish, and we couldn’t be prouder of him.

️ Diet Changes: We’ve started to decrease his food from the 11 cups a day he was on—he’s maintaining beautifully and no longer needs prednisone! He’s still on his B12 injections and metronidazole, and his progress just keeps getting better!

This journey has been nothing short of a miracle, and it wouldn’t have been possible without YOU. Your support, prayers, and love are making all the difference in the world for Mikhal.

Weigh-In Day at the vet, and we teased you all yesterday about his big moment. ✨ Any guesses on his current weight? Our goal was 60 lbs, but thanks to all your love, support, and Mikhal’s incredible spirit, we had high hopes he’d surpass that!

We are absolutely blown away to announce that Rick Elmore was the closest guess! Drumroll, please… Mikhal weighed in at an amazing 67.2 lbs!!

All of those positive vibes, well wishes, and “heavy thoughts” worked their magic!! Mikhal is getting stronger every day, and this milestone is a testament to the power of love, care, and determination. Thank you to every single one of you who believed in him and sent their best wishes for this important day!

We couldn’t be prouder of Mikhal. He’s not just surviving; he’s thriving! Keep those good thoughts coming as he continues his journey of healing and transformation.

Good Morning from Mikhal!

We wanted to pop in for a quick update on our favorite boy, Mikhal. He had a wonderful weekend filled with lots of love and even a few visitors.

Look at him go, moseying around the yard like the pro he is! ✨ Mikhal is learning to sit like a champ and patiently wait for his food – we’re so proud of how far he’s come. Every day, his personality shines brighter, and he truly is the sweetest soul.

We don’t have too much to report today, but Mikhal is heading to the doctor tomorrow for a recheck, and we’re excited to see where his weight is at! Our goal is to hit 60 pounds this time, and it feels like we’re so close! His paw continues to heal beautifully, and he’s getting stronger every day.

We’ve been a little busy over the weekend, but we’ll try to capture more of his journey today. Until then, just know he’s doing absolutely wonderful – as always, the best boy ever. ❤

Today, he enjoyed a brief stroll outside, soaking in the fresh air and wagging his tail, showing off just how handsome he is.
We’ve wrapped his paw up in a cute little baggie to keep it safe and dry—complete with a bow, of course!
His paw is healing beautifully, and he’s taking every step like a true champ! ✨

We might be a little late with today’s update, but it’s been one of those lazy, rainy days that make you want to curl up and enjoy the moment. Mikhal, our brave boy, is doing so well! Every day we see progress, and it fills our hearts with hope. He’s eating like a champ, taking his meds like the good boy he is, and even enjoying his enzyme powder! Although his stools are still a bit hit or miss, we can see he’s getting stronger every day.

Update on Our Warrior, Mikhal!

Mikhal is making incredible strides every day, and his appetite is stronger than ever. While he still needs his feeding tube for a couple of meals, he’s absolutely thriving on his kibble. Did you know Mikhal can eat up to 12 cups a day until he reaches his goal weight? That’s right – 12 cups! That’s a whole lot of kibble for a whole lot of strength!
