My hair is growing back! Foster Mom gave me something she called an outdoor shower, which is a fancy term for hose in the yard. She lathered me up with some good smelling stuff and made my skin feel better.
And then we discovered once I was clean that my hair is growing back. I feel so funny with my current look, and couldn’t figure out what was happening.
We are thrilled to share a small but mighty victory in sweet Lola’s journey! Last night, this brave girl had solid poop and even slept through the night without any accidents inside! For a dog who’s been through so much, these little milestones are HUGE.
Thank you for all the positive prayers and energy. Our beautiful girl Lola left the ICU today with her loving foster. Miracles are real. God is so good. And thank you all for always believing in the ones that others throw away. Every soul truly does matter, and every soul deserves to know love.
Our precious girl, Lola, is still under the care of the vets as they work to uncover what’s going on. They noticed a shadow on her X-ray—something in her stomach that might be a foreign object or material. Right now, they’re inducing vomiting to see if they can help her expel whatever it may be.
Just the fact that you’re still here shows us that you’re not giving up. We promise to fill your life with only love from here on out.
And she has an army of strength with her! Jen, Beth, and Judy ❤️
We will update as we get informed.
And the fact she is able to walk in herself—the testament of the willingness to still want to fight!
Hang in there, love. We are all with you!
Emergency Situation and Prayers Needed
Lola is very sick. We started her off at the vet Friday afternoon and snuggled her into her new Oz location. But as the hours went by, she is not feeling good and appears to be getting worse. She has terrible tummy distress and we need to get her help.
She is currently en route to the emergency clinic to try and get her support.
Let’s All Welcome Lola to the Oz Family!
Lola just came to us from being found abandoned in a house with another pup. She seems very sweet and would love to find a furever home or even a foster home!
She is a 14 yr old Standard Schnauzer. She hasn’t been dog tested yet at Oz but don’t let that stop you from wanting this sweetie!
Let’s all help find Lola a foster or a furever home! You truly can make a difference.
This Sweet Older Senior Needs a Foster!
This sweet older senior, who is good with other dogs and very sweet, is in need of a foster after her visit with the vet today.
She has lived a very tough life and needs love, care, and compassion. She is slower and is said to be a Standard Schnauzer mix.
Don’t be afraid of the missing hair; that’s why the visit today was needed. A vet coordinator will provide all necessary information for her care.
This poor dog has suffered immensely. What she has been through, we don’t know, and her current health condition is yet to be determined. What we do know is that no animal should ever have to fight to survive as much as some of these poor souls have.
Each one has a horrid story, each one fighting its own battle to just live, needing help. They are walking examples of strength and resilience, but even that can only get them so far. Look at their eyes, their suffering bodies—it tells a story of sadness and pain.
We need to get this pup out of the situation she is facing and get her the help she needs. I’m not even positive what breed she is.
