Hi everyone! We’re excited to share an update on our resilient patient. In this video, we walk you through the latest progress on his recovery journey. We’ve recently had a bandage check and updated his wrap, while also sending some tests to Texas A&M to ensure his pancreas is functioning well. The good news is that his albumin, white blood cell count, and hematocrit levels are all back to normal, and he’s making excellent strides in his recovery!
We did need to make some adjustments to his appetite stimulant due to recent issues with vomiting and diarrhea, which caused a slight drop in weight. But don’t worry—his attitude is fantastic, and he’s been walking around with great enthusiasm. His staples have been removed, and he’s out of danger from the surgery. Now, the focus is on gaining weight and continuing to improve his mobility.
