Two tiny babies were inside her fragile, malnourished body. But given everything she’s been through, they never stood a chance. They couldn’t survive. Flores is now being transferred to the surgery center at K-State, where they will remove the babies to prevent what little strength she has left from being drained.
What the Medical Team is Doing
Flores will also undergo a CAT scan to determine if her brain is strong enough to face all that lies ahead. This imaging test will help the doctors look inside her body and ensure she has the best chance of recovery.
