Tuesday Morning Rescue Report

☀️ Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

There’s always a reason to wake up with a heart in your smile and a smile in your heart—especially when surrounded by the love of these beautiful rescues. ❤️

With the warmer weather, the zoomies are in full force, and the puppy mud crew is on the loose! ‍♂️ Mud is everywhere… but so is joy.

We are beyond grateful for our incredible supporters, for your unwavering faith, and for the fact that Tux is back in our care.

Please continue to pray for the animals in shelters that don’t scan chips, for the ones who may have been missed, and for those who have families but are still euthanized. Every animal, every soul, deserves to know love. Shelters can and should be run differently.

If your beloved dog or cat ended up at a shelter, would you want it to be like ours—or like Wichita Animal Shelter?

This is your community, your tax dollars. You have the power to make a difference.

This Little Red Barn started with one person. No grants. No supporters. Just loans, debt, and an unshakable faith that love can move mountains. ⛰️❤️

And with God, anything is possible.

Last year, we took a leap of faith and purchased a property in Kansas City, Missouri. Now, we are beginning to lay out our building plans.

It will take $4 million to renovate, but we have a vision—a shelter of the future, a model that will prove to the world that it can be done. That it must be done.

With love. With kindness. And with the belief that not one single animal has to die for space.

My name is Jen, and I am the founder of Always & Furever. I like to jump on these lives every morning to share who we are, what we do, and how we believe shelters should and could be run.

If you want to find an excuse, you can. There will always be one—a reason why it’s not possible, why it can’t be done.

But every single day, we will wake up and prove that it is possible.

Because anything is possible when you believe, when you know in your heart that you are meant to make this world a better place for all of God’s animals.
