We received an urgent call from the emergency vet about a sweet, young Jack Russell who was hit by a car. The injuries are serious, and this little fighter is likely going to lose his leg. But the strength and resilience we see in animals like him is nothing short of incredible. Their unwavering faith and trust in us never fails to inspire, and this little guy—now named Oscar—is no exception.
Oscar faces two paths: losing his leg and finding a rescue, or, heartbreakingly, losing his life due to a lack of support. But we refuse to let that be his fate. Oscar has so much life ahead of him, and we believe in giving him a fighting chance.
We told the vet, “Tonight is NOT his night to leave us.” Oscar is officially part of the Always & Furever family, and we will do everything in our power to help him heal.
Do we have a foster home for him yet? Not yet.
Are our vet bills already overflowing? Yes.
But do we have the most amazing community standing by our side? Absolutely!
Oscar needs a loving foster home where he can heal and recover after surgery—he can’t go to a shelter in his condition. He needs a place filled with love, warmth, and extra care.
