What We’ve Learned
During surgery, the vets discovered Flores had two mummified puppies in her uterus, causing a severe and dangerous infection.
- The infection was addressed during surgery.
- She was started on medications and antibiotics and is already feeling better.
Steps Forward
- Flores’ damaged eye has been removed, and her recovery is being closely monitored by her amazing veterinary team.
- She is eating well and showing how food-motivated she is (such a fighter!).
- The vets continue to work with her chronic injuries, keeping watchful eyes on her progress.
