Jack Russell

The emergency vet called us and they have a small, young Jack Russell who was brought in due to being hit by a car.

The photos are pretty nasty and he will have to lose his leg. The resiliency and strength in animals is always more than I will ever be able to understand. The faith and trust they show us always amazes me. This poor little guy.

This little guy has 2 options:

  • Lose his leg and find a rescue.
  • The only other option—one I never like, but it’s reality—is to lose his life due to no one being able to step up and help.

Knowing this little guy has so much life left in him, we certainly don’t think it’s right to lose him, but instead give him a fighting chance. So that’s just what we are going to do. But please, I need all of you too! And deep in my heart, I really do have faith we can help him!!!

If a pup or kitty is willing to fight, we are willing to fight right alongside them.

So—we told the vet tonight is NOT his time to die. Tonight he becomes part of the A&F family and we will do all we can to help him.

Do we have a foster yet? No.
Do we have vet bills coming out our ears? Yep.
But… do we have the greatest support system? You bet we do!
Do we have the most amazing followers? Absolutely!!
Then we don’t have a reason to give up on this little guy. He’s young and still has his whole life ahead of him.

Help me tonight find him a foster. He cannot go to a shelter environment after surgery. He needs a home to heal in with extra one-on-one love and care!!!

Help me tonight cover the emergency bills that will soon pile up for his care. Help me with prayers and shares, and let’s show this little one he is not alone.
