It’s been a long time coming.

When A&F first found Mikhal, I reached out to express interest. I adopted the Dawg Knight: Bruce Wayne back in April, and had been on the lookout for a brother for him. His sister, Bridgette (very spry, though smaller and a vintage age of 14), runs and plays with him, but he needed someone who could keep up, learn from him, and become his “bestest little buddy.” It had to be the right one.

I’ve had the good fortune of visiting Mikhal with Julie a few times during his recovery. It felt like an instant bond. He especially gravitated toward my daughter. We’ve gone on walks, participated in lots of butt scratches, enjoyed toys, and had lots of kisses 😻. I just didn’t know how he would mesh with my babies. I was hopeful.

Today we got our answer. Bridgette (my charming, pretty princess), Bruce (the Cocaine Bear), and Mikhal (affectionately referred to by us as Mik or Mik Swagger—sorry, Rolling Stones fan here 🎸) met. I couldn’t have asked for better.

We are getting the new bed and dishes, toys, “dog furniture,” etc.

Bruce is getting a little brother.
Mikhal is getting a “pack”/family who will adore him and keep him spoiled and happy.
I’m getting one more piece to fill the hole left when we lost Bob.

My heart is happy and full… like when the Grinch’s heart grew on Christmas 🎄.

Thank you Jen, Julie, and A&F. My family is going to be complete.

Updates will be posted regularly. After all, I’m now the PR point for a couple of celebrities 😜.
