8-31 9 am Update
We wish we could find the words to fully express just how full our hearts are. Seeing his eyes look up at us, the phenomenal care this entire vet team has given him, and the unbreakable spirit that shines through him—it’s all been nothing short of a miracle. His numbers are improving, he’s eating more on his own (sausages are his favorite) and even adjusting himself and stood a few more moments on his own!!! The time we spent with him was short but perfect. Every single one of your prayers has undoubtedly reached him. Everyday Mikhal is making progress, but monitoring his values is crucial. His will to live is ASTOUNDING!
We may not know anything about his past, and his future remains uncertain. We know it’s moment-to-moment still, but we know he’s not giving up. Right now, we know that without being where he is, in this exact moment, he wouldn’t be alive today. He has filled all our hearts with hope, and that hope will continue to carry him forward.

Today, we are making a difference for Mikhal. And that changes his world and our world too. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
From seeing his on deaths door, to today… with softer skin, cleaner and fuller eyes and his gentle spirit… my God… our God… is just sooooo good.
